Infrared spectra of hydrogen-bonded complexes of tertiary alcohols with diethyl ether were measured in the νs(OH) region. The profile of this band was quantitatively analyzed, yielding shape parameters, band moments, asymmetry factors, correlation functions, correlation times and modulation parameters. The relation between the relaxation parameters and the strength of the hydrogen-bond is discussed.
