IR spectra of hydrogen-bonded complexes of phenol derivatives with diethyle ther were measured in the stretching vibration region of the OH group and the profile of this band was quantitatively analysed. The vibrational dephasing process and motional narrowing phenomena observed in the studied systems are discussed. The results are compared with earlier ones obtained for dioxane and tetrahydrofuran complexes.
