IR spectra of hydrogen-bonded complexes of five phenol derivatives with tetrahydrofuran were measured. A detailed analysis of shape of the stretching vibration band of the proton-don or group in these systems was carried out, yielding profile parameters, band moments,asymmetry factors, correlation functions and correlation times.The nature of the dephasing process and the origin of the observed motional narrowing features are discussed.
