Streszczenie

The synthesis, crystal structure and spectroscopic properties of a uranium(III) compound of the formula (NH4)[UBr2(CH3CN)2(H2O)5]Br2 is reported. The IR, Raman and electronic spectra of the compound have been recorded in the 30–4000 and 4000–26,000 cm−1 spectral ranges, respectively, and are discussed. The assignments of the IR and Raman frequencies are given.
