Streszczenie

Optical observations of DMABA single crystals with a polarising microscope have revealed its ferroeleastic properties. An analysis of ferroelastic domain pattern allow to suppose that the crystal belongs either to hexagonal 6/mF2/m or trigonal 3mF2/m species in Aizu's terminology. The temperature of ferroelastic phase transition has not been reached.
