Stability constants,i.r. spectra,and dipole moments of hydrogen-bonded complexes of 2,6-dichloro-4-nitropheno lwith various pyridine bases in CCl,were determined at 25°.The contribution of proton transfer to the enhancement of dipole moment along the hydrogen bonding and the intensity of the OH stretching vibration band is discussed.
