The experimental results of positron annihilation experiments in aque-ous solutions of formamide were compared to those of ultrasonic velocity. Thesystems under investigation behave untypically while changing formamideconcentration. The results are explained in terms of hydrophilic hydrationand lack of hydrophobic interactions.
