Simple, high yield and less explored synthetic routes to well‐defined organometallic‐derived heterometallic compounds are described. Because such complexes play important roles as efficient molecular precursors to mixed‐metal oxides, they are highly desirable. Here we present deoligomerization of Group 2 alkoxides by co‐complexation using AlMe3, Group 2 aryloxides that constitute convenient anchors for new organometallics and the promoting effect of metal alkoxides on the protonation of Cp groups in Group 4 metallocenes.
