Streszczenie

Potentiometric and spectroscopic data have shown that insertion of imidazole into the aminophosphnotate moiety results in very powerful ligand for Cu(II) and Ni(II) ions. The phosphonic function is a basic donor system below pH 6, while above this pH each ligand serves two very powerful nitrogen donors derived from the amino and imidazole moieties. The (amino)(1H-imidazol-4-yl)methyl phosphonic acid is a powerful chelating agent for Cu(II) and Ni(II) ions. The high stabilities of the metal complexes result from the presence of two effective nitrogen donors that of amino group and other one of imidazole moiety.
