Streszczenie

The temperature dependence of the 1H relaxation times T1, T1ρ and T1D were studied in the ferroelectric (CH3NH3)5Bi2Br11. Three kinds of motions of the methylammonium cation, i.e. (1) rotations of the CH3 and NH3 groups about C3 axis, (2) reorientation of the whole cation about C3 axis forming an angle α = 13° with the C3 axis of NH3 and CH3 groups, (3) 180° flip motion of the methylammonium cation, have been observed separately. The small activation energies of these motions imply that the cations experience a weak crystal field.
