The nucleation and movement of the 180° domain walls in(CH3NH3)5Bi2Br11 crystals has been investigated by means of liquid crys-tals. The various shapes of domains during the polarization reversal hasbeen observed and discussed, considering that the type of nucleation is thecontrolling factor in the propagation of the walls.PACS numbers: 77.80.Dj
