Streszczenie

The temperature variation of the interfacial tension is measured for six binary two-phase organic-organic or organic-water systems presenting a critical consolute point. Considering also the temperature dependence of the miscibilities of the solutes in both phases, the variable "temperature" can be eliminated and some correlation between the interfacial tension and the degree of miscibility is investigated. Due to the accuracy of the operating method, the existence of some universal dependence of the interfacial tension on the miscibilities is doubtful. In a temperature range of some degrees Kelvin close to the critical consolute point, the scaling law from the critical exponents theory is found to be operating for the prediction of the temperature dependence of the interface tension for the nitrobenzene-hexane system.
