The nonlinear dielectric effect (NDE) technique was applied to the investigation of the ferroelectric—paraelectric phase transition in (CH3NH3)5Bi2Br11 crystal. These preliminary measurements demonstrate that the NDE technique gives the possibility to obtain the time/voltage characteristics of a ferroelectric crystal in the vicinity of the phase transition.
