Study of far-infrared (5-400 cm−1) reflectivity spectra of two isomorphous (Pca21) ferroelectric compounds: (CH3NH3)5Bi2Cl11 and (CH3NH3)5Bi2Cl11 has been performed in the temperature range 90-330 K. The ferroelectric type transitions occurring at 307 K and 312 K in the mentioned compounds, respectively, manifest itself as continuous, order-disorder transitions. Estimations of low-frequency dielectric parameters from infrared reflectivity spectra are in accordance with the data obtained from dielectric measurements.
