Streszczenie

The shear viscosityhs, mutual diffusion coefficientD, and ultrasonic attenuation spectra of thenitroethane-cyclohexane mixture of critical composition have been measured at varioustemperatures near the critical temperatureTc. The relaxation rate of order parameter fluctuationsresulting from a combined evaluation of thehsandDdata follows power law behavior with thetheoretical exponent and with the large amplitudeGo5( 15662)3109s21. The ultrasonic spectrahave been evaluated in terms of a critical contribution and a noncritical background contribution. The amplitude of the former exhibits a temperature dependence, in conformity with a temperaturedependence in the adiabatic coupling constant (ugu50.064 nearTcand 0.1 atT2Tc53 K) . If thevariation of the critical amplitude withTis taken into account the experimental attenuationcoefficient data display a scaling function which nicely fits to the theoretical prediction from theBhattacharjee–Ferrell dynamic scaling model@R.
